I don't know that I would totally discredit the product just yet. those mounting studs for the front struts are just pressed in, and if you are the FIRST case where one broke, may have been a defective stud. Hit up a local McMaster or Fastenal and grab 6 new stainless or grade8 studs and see where you fall without those purple brackets on the rears. Although, if what has happened left a bad taste in your mouth about them and they are willing to give full refund, go for it.....cause you dont wanna be driving around regretting the purchase.

The front studs are very easy to over torque, they only need something like 15 ft/lbs max. (or less) which isn't very tight at all.

I could have sworn it was 35ftlbs when I installed my useless stress bar.

Correction, I just doubled checked the instructions that I used for my SVT kit and it specified 18ft/lbs for the three top mount bolts (see link below). That's still not much more than hand tight/snug. Pretty sure that other manufacturers wouldn't be much different. The strut shaft nut does, however, require 35 ft/lbs.

I thought it over and I'm going to keep them. Contacted them today and they are sending me a new top mount. I'm just paying shipping. Still sucks that it happened to me.

hey guys. I bought the same coilovers. Mine were installed with no hassle. I'm still running on stock tires and rims though cause the rims that I ordered hasn't arrived yet.
