Wrap spoiiler/midwing in Di Noc;ricey or not?

I have my ST style spoiler and mid wing ready to be paint matched in Candy red but I was also throwing around the idea of vinyl wrapping the pieces.

I know a lot of people who are and aren't fans of the black pack painted spoiler (reminds me of the days of unpainted body kits and wings) but maybe done up in some nice faux CF might look ok. Any opinions?
I'm still leaning toward color matching and just keeping the DiNoc on the pillars since that should look good and protect the black paint from my wife's nails.

I would tend to go with the thinking of saying nice faux carbon fiber is an oxymoron. Paint matched is always the way to go in my book. If you have extra vinyl laying around you can always try it out...

Do you have any carbon on the out side of your car now? just doing the spoiler/midwing wont really flow with the rest of the car imo.

For the love of all that is good, don't use plastidip on it. I had done mine that way and when it came time to remove it for paint I pretty much had to melt it off with bug and tar remover. Naturally, the primer came with it. That left me having to get it primed and painted...

There are too many compound curves to wrap imho. My vote is for paint. At the very least you could look into the possibility of having it hydro-dipped.

I personally am a fan of the black spoiler or midwing. I think it looks good. However, I don't think that the carbon fiber would go well unless you have more somewhere else on the car, so I would paint match it as opposed to the cf. Just my $0.02

Yeah,I agree with you guys as it might not flow together. Paint matched it is and the only vinyl will be going on the pillars which should be very easy to do.

Polish them. Just make sure that you tape off the surrounding rubber really well. They actually look really, really good when polished.

Are you using a plastic polish, or a regular paint polish? Will have to try that next time I detail.
