Actually i do not, which is why i posted in The first place....i do know that next car will be a manual, again. This focus is only my second car ive'd owned with an auto (yeah i know it isn't really an auto) n i am ready for a manual again

I will say, and i know it is a wet clutch design and others have said that it has its issues, as well, but last year i rented a golf with a 7spd WCT and it never acted like the DCT in the focus... The golf's never missed a beat in 3'weeks if driving in all types of weather on all types of roads in iceland. It was butter smooth with NO shudder, over revving, etc...

I don't mean this is a negative , I just wish they would fix these issues even at the expense of fuel economy.

Thnx. I already did.. They were very nice about it n ck'd things out and said nothing was amiss. All normal. Perhaps. We will wait and see
