No. Not at this time.

Without buying an a unit that already had NAV on it.

No, Scattershot, you cannot add navigation after your vehicle leaves the factory.

That's an outright lie. I and others have done it.

We do not offer an aftermarket kit to do this, nor do we support D.I.Y. or third party hardware/software installations.

Saw your pics, so it looks like you got the backup camera working. How did you actually hook it up into the harness, that I couldn't find. Last post I read you found out the pin for the APIM, but that was it. A few more details would be nice.

How would a dealer know it was a D.I.Y. install since they used Genuine Ford MFT units? All they would have to say was theirs failed and they replaced them with a salvaged unit. Ford may not cover the salvaged MFT unit, but Ford can't void any other part of their warranty. That is protected under the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act.

She didn't say your entire car's warranty would be void, she said your DIY installation—the salvaged MFT unit—would not be supported.

If I understand what I've been reading on the subject correctly, the VIN mismatch between your chassis and the MFT unit would be a pretty easy tell.

hi guys I just got the car with navigation, how's the navigation compared to google map? ( I have been using note 3 with google map and I think it's pretty good, let you know accidents ahead or heavy traffic, diff routes to take, does the car's navigation got those features?) so I am wondering if I want to keep using the smartphone or car's navigation.

No, the in car navigation isn't that sophisticated, unfortunately. For it's price it should be. It can't even re-route when you see a need for a detour. If it can, I haven't figured it out, so if I'm wrong I hope someone will clarify it then.

I see thanks! I was about to take out the phone car holder in the car and just use the car's nav, but don't really have time to play around with it and drive to wrong destination or get lost. I gonna keep on using smartphone google map until someone else clarifies it.

Can I sync the smartphone and have the phone's google map show on the screen?
