All that "excess plastic that does absolutely nothing" on your taillights is reflective, therefore providing visibility for your vehicle. You went too dark on the taillights, a subtle tint would look much better than what you have done, and also have maintained its reflective properties.

Thanks all I appreciate the support! this car actually got me second place at the a local car show in the ford category as it is. As for the emblems I am having some custom made at a local shop in black text with white background. so they wont be like that much longer.

At first I went with the subtle tint but I didn't like how the red was showing through so I went with another two layers of tent. Yes I understand that I may be getting "risky" by losing some of that reflective value. However my tail lights, turn signals, and brake/running lights still have the same full visibility from the sides so safety concern is minimal. Thanks for your opinion though I just liked them blacked out as they blend in now at night time and completely change the look of the rear end.

I am not nearly complete, I am waiting for my body kit and exhaust to be shipped out (already ordered) and much more cosmetic goodies to come.

I blacked out all the excess plastic that does absolutely nothing on the tail lights.

Replaced the front headlights with Spec-D Halo Headlights, Sadly they are only DRL Projectors but I still love the look.

Plasma Glow Thunder Grille, as well as the entire interior lights up purple with LED's.

I also have the arctic white seating package.

Hi. I was thinking about buying the same Spec-D halo headlights. How are they holding up?
And what did you mean by: "Sadly they are only DRL Projectors..." in your first post?

Well as far as their function they work still with no problems. I had I bulb burn out already but that's it so far. All the led's still work perfectly fine. The halos are not bright however so don't expect it to be noticed during th day like some cars out there. And so not bother with hen unless you buy the ones prebuilt with the ones that come as hid. They aren't the brightest and don't have that good of a field of vew, I could see better driving around with my stock ones.

I was buying the ones that already come with the 35w hids already installed, but they are on back order and its going to be 3 more weeks until they have them in stock... Do you think with the hids they would be alright, brightness wise?

I can't make any guarantees but I would say they should be good, the thing is they are bright but don't have a very wide field of view so you could see fine directly ahead of you but when it comes time to turn you can't see very well at all, please let me know how the hid bulbs work out as I might get the conversion kit.

hey nice car. I rarely like the sedans but this is sweet. Was wondering if you could post a pic on your beam throw for the headlights. I got the same ones and cant seem to find it.

I agree with drummerboy13 in that I'm not a big fan of the sedan but you did yours RIGHT. Looks phenomenal man, great work so far. I'm a big fan of the black and purple scheme.
