Looks like the crank is in the right spot. But those cams are off a bit. Not sure if its enough to bend any valves though. I would reset the timing and then see if it fails a cylinder leak down. No head removal necessary :)

By the way the two cables that go to the shifter linkage,which one goes toward the upper side and which to the lower ?One is black and one is white and they look like they will fit either location.

OK I can't get the cams rotated to where I need them,comes to an abrupt stop,looks like some of the lifters are keeping it from turning.Is this a sign of bent valves I can take the header off if I can tell thru the exhaust ports.
