Here's how you make a tester go to Home Depot and get a sized coupler to your inlet of turbo the. Buy a PVC stopper to plug the other side then buy a compressor air fitting and drill a hole in the stopper to screw the fitting in then epoxy glue it for secure air leaks hook that up to your inlet hook other side to a compressor an get your soapy water squirt bottle ready

3-4psi will do, I use a tire tube, cut the piece that has the valve in it to fill it and clamp it to the turbo.

Now this is done with the engine off correct? I've got everything listed and got a adjustable gauge to control psi coming off the compressor to 4psi.
Hows this looking so far? Still have to apply adhesive glue to it.

what the name to vac line that runs to back of intake manifold? when using tester found it and it was undone started car up still was reading 17, pulled it out car tried to die (obviously) then plugged in real quick to save idle and wiggled it around while doing so cause the vac reading to flex from 12 to 18" of merc. So guessing the seal on it is bad. Its a male line and fits into a female fitting vs the common female line to male fitting. I can get a pic if needed.

Jake

nvm found it on google:

see my line is missing that red rubber seal.

I get what you mean I used the same kind of fitting on a "gun" with a gauge then used a extra vac line to connect tester to compressor gun. I'm still reading 17 where as when we first boosted car read 21. I've gone over every connection only thing it can be is that the seal is missing and I can't find one anywhere online. Any thoughts? I'm going to call local junk yard to see if I can get one of a dead foci.
