If you know how to tint tail light this isn't very hard painters tape and news paper as long as you can stay in the lines with the tape

But what do you use? I've seen niteshade jobs and I absolutely dislike the result. His is super glossy (at least from that pic, maybe it doesn't IRL). I dig that, especially with the reverse lights being stock, that looks great. Now I'm not sure how it'd look on a sterling gray car, but that's to be seen.

Niteshade looks glossy if you do a good job. I think misfire had a how to somewhere around here.

I was just looking up methods and you're right, a lot of people do niteshades/sand/clearcoat/sand/clearcoat/sand/buff and it looks really well done. I guess the jobs I've seen have just been shittily done.

I think he means the OEM screen above.

In that case, it would be because his is a different trim than yours - that's the base model screen offered on the Mk3s.
