no.....if you think about it oil is traveling from your feed set up aka the head or the oil press sending unit on the block then travels down into the turbo to lubricate the bearings wih then returns into the pan to start the cycle all over again right? well if its getting past your compressor and you ruled out the oil seals to the bearings themselves then my only non expertise opinion would be the restrictor is allowing far to much oil to go into the dbb turbo. btw do you have a oil pres gage set up carl?

I don't have an oil pressure gauge, Sean, but it's on my list. I've ordered a new oil return line and restrictor so I can check that block.

Tom, I sent you a datalog.

So, something like 10w-30 or 10w-40?

Ran a compression test. Tested each cylinder three times and took the average. Spark plugs were clean. Starting on the passenger side and working toward the driver's side, the compression readings were:

#1-144psi
#2-145psi
#3-148psi
#4-146psi

Are these numbers within normal limits?

Yes, stock internals. 10:1 ratio, if I remember correctly. Tom informed me that these are normal readings.

Well, ladies and gents, after all the troubleshooting I've done on the GoKart, the oil issue is finally resolved. Got her fixed. Sadly, though, with all of the troubleshooting I've done, the last thing I did was replace the gaskets on the inlet manifold and throttle body. I should have done that WAAAAAAYYYY earlier.
