I do my tranny fluid. Plugs wouldn't hurt and a new air filter if it hasn't been serviced recently.

The plugs are suppose to be good for 100,000 miles. I replace them w/ Denso Iridemum plugs.

I don't know that trans flush is necessary at 35k...

I changed trans/plugs/fuel filter at 50k. Went with autolite coppers. With 108xxx on the car the coppers are still going strong (34mpg daily). I did plugs and fuel filter at 100.

Yeah I contacted my Local Ford Dealer Service center at about 30k and they told me I didn't need to do a tranny flush or change yet. I told them in the service manual it said 30k but they said it is 50k. I am at 42k now, I may go ahead and get it done

Automatic transmission flush is typically around 60k
Manual may need more attention at 30k depending on driving habits.
Fuel filter should be changed every 30k
Belt should be changed around 40-50k
Platinum plugs will start to drop off around 60k
Oil changes under normal driving conditions can go to 7k (I change mine at 5k)
Rotate your tires every oil change for maximum tread life
Clean the MAF every other oil change to maintain engine response
Replace O2 sensors around 60-80k depending on region and fuel quality
Clean the injectors with a no-residue detergent every 15-20k (Seafoam works and will also help to maintain fuel filter performance)

Everyone is going to give you different numbers, the key is to find a balance and keep track of everything.

I change ATX fluid on a variable basis, by looking at the fluid color on a paper towel. It starts as bright red, then goes orange then toward brown and darker. I usually change at orange tilting slightly toward a brown tint. Around 50-80K depending on car and type of use. Towing will drop the number like a rock. The dye is a fairly repeatable exposure to heat indicator to me. If not all gets changed, the second time will be quicker since old fluid remaining in trans tilts the color of the new quick.
