My playstation install

Well I wanted to do an interior mod to my car, and I figured since I already had the dvd player this would be fun and cheap to do. I only chose the PS2 it was small enough to fit in my glove box, if you guys know of a good place to mount a system please let me know.

this is the wiring for the inverter going to the battery

my battery connections

its a little hard to see on this pic but above the green plastic thing there is a flap which you can drill through the firewall. This is for an 03 manual

I placed the power inverter underneath the steering wheel so that I can just flip the switch whenever I want to turn it on

you can see the power inverter hidden under the steering column

This is how the ps2 sits in the glove box, its not really mounted to anything but it doesn't have room to go anywhere.

av cable for the ps2 and for pioneer player hooked up to a switch box in case I want to add another device

power cord for PS2

Its my first time doing this kind of thing so if you guys have any suggestions to make this a better install please let me know.

I could probably build a rack I just don't know really where to put it other than inside the glove box.

It's be pretty sweet to do some carpet wrapped box but it'd be hard to get it to stay put without drilling... Perhaps the pocket behind the passenger seat run the wires under the seat and behind the pocket?.. I know other people have done this..

I have a custom interior so I have no pockets anymore, also wouldn't the game system overheat a lot if you put it in there?

My second option was putting it under the passenger seat, but I thought it would be too hard to put games in that way so I decided not to pursue it

if you make a mold of teh glove box. you could get a nicer looking custom mount and you can properly vent it. jsut an idea.
