Still loving my car. Im getting around 36 mpg. Last fill up I got 39.just had a remote car starter put in. Cost me a little more because it a manual trans. But its going to be some nice as the winter comes to a near!

I don't care if your car sh** winning lottery tickets, when winter comes having a remote start will be your favorite mod.

I had to space heat my car in the morning before I left for work.

(I lived in the Carolina mountains, not talking about Florida by anymeans.)

Gotcha beat there. I live in maine. Gets cold here in the winter.we are do for a bad one this year, I can feel it!

Cold in Louisiana is a joke to you guys I'm quite sure lol. We might see low 20's one or two days in the winter and thats it.

I would like a remote start, but I'm not sure I'd trust on on a manual transmission!

A block heater would be a good compromise. The coolant and oil would be warm without having to start the engine.

Being an apartment dweller ... that's not an option for me.

The Focus has always been the best American compact car. I love mine.

Try getting a lower suspension and some summer tires. You won't believe how well it handles.

Which brand remote start did you go with? I have a manual and would like to do the same thing also I cant seem to get great gas mileage then again I'm always doing 80 on the highway lol.
