SVT PS line a direct fit on zetec PS pump ?

Hey everyone,

So my ps line is starting to leak, I am thinking of changing to an svt line since i swapped my header might also change the pump while I am at it.
I just wanted to know if anyone knows if a stock svt PS line will be a direct fit with the zetec one.

I know CFM sells a relocating kit but with shipping and duty's it would come down to 110.
My part store can get the svt line for 65.

rock auto gives some nice dimensions but I don't know what to make of it.

EDELMANN Part # 92102 11mm Male Captive O-Ring x 16mm Male Swivel O-Ring x 91 5/8" (w/Switch Port)SVT Model

Yes it will fit with no problems, well small problems, such as the pressure switch is mounted on the pump on the non SVT pump and the switch/sensor is located on the power steering line itself. Just find a bolt to screw into the hole, that's what I did. Everything else was just easy remove and reinstall. Though it's a little tighter going around the trans due to the MTX-75 being either a little bigger than the Getrag or smaller I forget which but it's one of those. Be mindful by the shift linkage. I had my line move and block me from being able to put it in gear one time. I just needed to move the line to a better spot, I can't remember if I ziptied to something or not since it's been a while. I used the Gates brand power steering line for the SVT, but the Edelman should do just fine as well, I just like the Gates brand lol

Awesome man, thanks for the quick reply !
So I just have to plug a hole which is located on the svt line or on the zetec pump ? anypics of what im looking for would be cool. :)

What about if i just went with a svt pump and line on a zetec would that work better ?

That would work too. I wanna say they are the same pump just with a plug or a sensor but I couldn't be too sure on that.

I ended up just getting the SVT ps line (Edelmann #92102) came with the connector already on. I am in the process of trying to get an svt pump from another member.
But the pump isnt needed. Just make sure to look if your sensor is on the line or on the pump mine was on the line so it just swapped.

That's almost like the SVT line that I got from Ford. If you had the Motorcraft version you would have had to buy the nut that connects to the power steering pump separately from the rest of the hose. About the only problem that aggravated me so much about the aftermarket lines was the connector plate that goes onto the steering rack. It just seems that they didn't fit right and that's the reason I went with the SVT line.

I called up my dealer because I needed a new line and they said the same thing.

Any one know the bolt size to block off the port? I don't think I need a new pump and would rather not replace it till needed. Until then I need to plug this"extra" port up.

Thanks
