Mud flap installation!!!

After purchasing Rally Armor basic+ mud flaps, my father and i finally got them installed. sorry about some picture resolution, only had my phone for some of them.

we used these small clips to insert into the wheel well. we drilled slots into the wheel well, then drilled the hole.

the screws used, the built in washer is great for when you need to slot a hole in the mud flap a bit more.

sorry about poor quality :( heres a side view of the clips

this is how the clips went into the wheel well. we slotted it, slipped it in, the drilled the hole. these are on the front.

this is what the rear looks like.

to secure the end of the main part of the flap, we put these "christmas trees" into the flap, then grab onto the wheel well.

this is how they look attached

this how they look with the 3 screws and the tree. these are the front. the hardware store ran out black screws, so i guess it works out better you guys! :p

here's the rear

here's the final product!!! :D

sorry these are sideways, im too lazy to edit :dunno:

P.S. the logo does not come blue, it comes in black, or painted red. i bought black, then had my GF paint them blue. i used a clear coat, but im not sure how well it will last.

I've been waiting for this! Nice write-up. Did you have to take the wheels off or could you do with them on? (I've got limited access to a jack)

You definately need to take off the wheels. You might get away with it for the fronts by turning it all the way. But backs there is no way. Especially with any thing not right on the lip.

The rednecks would rig up some chain and 2x4 between their lifted trucks to get you up! Haha. But seriously I wouldn't let any drunk rednecks near my little focus haha

How did you install yours? And can I see how low? Cause I didn't want to go too low and a little focus. Also I wanted to cover the entire wheel.
