is there a writeup for xcal2 firewire?

im looking but cant find it i have a 9pin cable and a xcal to i want to wire into the AEM but i cant figure out how and i dont wanna mess soemthing up doing it wrong no clue were to start?????

I get that error message when 1) the key isn't on or 2) the xcal isn't plugged into the OBDII port

If you're using the 9 pin DIN:

Cut one end off of the 9 pin cable
Plug the xcal2 into the OBDII port
Plug the other end into the top of the xcal2
Using a volt meter, find the 2 wires (on the end you cut) that read between 0-5v. Either of those should work
Connect one of those to the white wire on the AEM
Ground to a clean grounding point

In your software you should now be connected to either analog 1 or 2, depending on which 9pin wire you used.
