Mangaflow exhaust issues.

I installed a new Mangaflow exhaust on my car and whatever i do the exhaust keep leaking at the flange at the flex pipe , the cat back. I installed all different kinds of gaskets and even doubled up gaskets but that doesnt seem to be working . I dont want to take the car to a exhaust shop and spend more money on fixing the exhaust.

Try using some exhaust paste. It seals it up but can still be broken if you ever need to take it apart. They sell it at autoparts stores.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left

Same issue with mine.
But it's holding better this time round. I bought some bulk Fel-Pro exhaust gasket material and made my own gaskets. 2 on the header flange and 2 on the flexpipe/flex back flange. It's lasted 3 weeks now, v 1.5 week prior.

To me, and for what's on this car, I think it's an alignment issue. The flanges are slotted and that can allow a large gap/step between the piping. So then you have a gasket hanging in direct path of high heat.
There's no good reason they need to be slotted and it's a PITA to line them up perfectly.

In time I'm going to do away with bolt flanges and go V-band.

the exhaust should be torques evenly to 35lbs at the flange, and use paste.
