i am going for wheel power. this engine build is uncharterd teretory 4 me.. so i recon i have to try several times.. but current ratio is 13:1.. on a fuel type called E85 here( dont know if it is something is sold in the us?) its 85% ethanol and 15% petrol... here in norway i has been used in lowcost racing fore some years now with good sucsess.. So im trying on my engine now. using custom je pistons, custom camshafts, and the cylinderhead is built by a wellknown engine buillder here in norway. So im looking forward to se what will come out of it :) and if i dont reach my goal.. i'll try again :) and figure out what parts i can improve..

Mechanical pornography !!!! When I'll finish my degree in mechanical engineering, I'll build my svt with dry sump and Itb's !!! The bad thing is that I still have 3 more years to go through

Make sure you supply us with plenty of pictures and detailed builds steps !! Good luck on your project !

FWIW, you'll need RPM to reach your goal.
To get there within the stock rev range you'd be running close to 160%VE. Which isn't really possible on any of our budgets.

So very good cams with high RPM potential and a head to fit is the only option.

Problem then becomes engine balance, which needs to be perfect. And oil supply.
Stock oil pump gears are weak and currently there is no alternative other than dry sump. There is no expected date for the CFM oil pump gears and even they have been known to fail at high RPM,,, though I really wonder is engine balance/condition played some part.

All I can offer is a Good Luck.
I think you're going to find out it's far more work that you think to make your goal.

Look at the stock oil pump casting, there is a large area where the outer rotor is unsupported by metal, the outer ring can try to 'dig' out of its' position. Could break the outer ring. I'd be curious to know what a pump break looks like damage wise.

Something as simple as not zeroing in the pump on dead crank center could break them too. There could even be a case for intentionally bolting it down slightly one way or the other to minimize that open side effect on the casting. That style pump is not 'bolt it on and go'...........
