2005 ZX3 Taillight Question

Hey, all...

I am wondering if anyone makes an aftermarket taillight lens assembly for the 2005 ZX3 that has amber turn signal lenses?

Moved to "MK1 Focus". The answer to your question is yes, but you will have to do the "Euro conversion" in this case and change your back up light position to the turn signal position. The Euro tail lights have the amber case. You will also need to do some re-wiring as well.

That or you could buy some amber tail light smoke paint, and smoke the clear "R" light pocket of the tail light to give it the euro look. But I wouldnt want to get caught backing up around any police. What zetec don said would be the most suitable route.

You might be able to mod a 3157 white/amber switchback LED in the reverse socket. That way you would have both functions.

I've also seen DIY yellow LEDs in the empty reflector part, the yellow light filtered through a red lens makes amber.
