mk3 rental

Hey guys and girls.

It has been a while.
Now I am having a trip in Scotland and I got myself a rental.

So excited because it's a focus.
1.6l diesel 6speed. 17in alloys with front disc break. With 6 miles on it.
It runs great. Light clutch but smooth tranny.

Ford sync is working great.
Found out the bluetooth after buying the 3.5mm audio cable. For my phone's music. Hertz did not tell me there's Bluetooth.

cheers,
Steve

Sharp li'l car. 6 speed manual or auto? If manual, it's pretty awesome that they rent out manual trans over there. They're pretty much defunct as rentals in the US. :(

I had a 2010 or 2011 Ford Focus diesel manual transmission over in Ireland last year. It was a lot of fun. The low end torque was awesome. Complete reverse of the USDM petrol engines as far as power band.

Manuals are extremely common in Europe. I'd say most rental cars are manuals, most are diesel. It's quite a luxury item to have an automatic.

Ford REALLY needs to bring a diesel engine over here.

It is a 6spd. auto cost too much to rent...
It lacks power going uphill. Still a sharp little car.
About 52mpg right now. I have done 1000 miles in it.
We have been doing a lot of drive.
One of my bnb host has a white ST.

I was like OMG lol
