Wont Start.

Okay, So I had reset my car back to stock factory a while because my laptop was damaged so I couldn't data log with Tom and I was still running the base tune.

I just got my laptop back and like a jackass and put the tune on my SVT, with out even bother checking if SCT had an update which they did. Long story short. I put the tune on the car everything went smooth. But now the car wont turn on, It wont even crank. My cluster doesn't even mark the mileage it just marks a hole much of Dashes.

I tried resetting the car back to stock before and after I updated my xcal NO LUCK. I tried re installing the tune No luck either.

When ever I try to re install the tune it says ERROR: 1018 Read strategy failed.

When ever I try to go back to stock it says ERROR: 1028 No vehicle attached to device.

Now I don't know for sure if its because I installed the tune with the old SCT software. I checked all my fuses there fine. Car was on before I installed the tune. I tried it number of times no luck. I found some post saying to remove certain fuses no luck. My cluster wont mark the mileage just shows dash marks. SCT is closed on the weekends. When I try to turn it on the car does the same exact thing that happens when you try to start the car with out holding the clutch radio resets etc..

Sounds like you either set the PATS or fried your ECU , If you updated your xcal with a tune loaded your going to have to send the xcal to SCT for an unlock , your only option is to contact SCT Monday and maybe have to send your xcal and ECU to them

You can always have it towed to a dealer and have the pcm reflashed. Your only other otion is to wait until monday to see what sct has to say. This is the number 1 worst part about trying to tune cars. These devices are so finicky. Good luck!

Pull fuses 46 and 61 and try to reload stock tune , you have to pull these fuses

The last SCT XCAL updates for the xcal3 wouldnt even allow to datalog the SVT and I had to get a reset back to a previous version , I also had issues uploading a tune even after pulling the fuses but the reset back to previous version cured that

Thats why I say NEVER UPDATE YOUR XCAL

Pull your fuses first then if it wont load contact SCT
