I can pull it forward and I think the two in yellow will fit in existing bolt holes, but I wont be able to use the three fasteners in the center. On the flipside it will be away from the header. The ones in red are too short no matter what.

I left the little stock deflector up there, it doesn't interfere and it directs air into the radiator.

This is good to know thank you, so you took out the stock deflector on the SVT "the little plastic that's held in by 4 or 5 pushin plastic pins....and how much MPG increase have you seen on the SVT?

It’s good to hear that you got an mpg boost from putting something like this on your Mustang. I’m averaging around 30 mpg in this warm weather without any kind of deflector, but it would be nice to get that average up a bit.

I left the factory deflector in there. I decided to bolt it to the fender liners and pull it forward to the bumper with zipties so there wouldnt be a gap in the front.

I haven't driven it that much so I don't know the average MPG increase, but I have a ScangaugeII and, above 65mph the 'real time' MPG dropped noticeably before. Now at 70mph the MPG stays a little more "economical". I think I got a whole mpg on an aero challenged fox Mustang with the "Ranger air dam" mod.

As of now it gets really warm where the header is after a drive, and I have a wrapped header. I'm just keeping an eye on it now to see if I need to cut a notch for it.

This is interesting as my stock piece is totally gone so this larger piece would be of some benefit to me for sure.

I can't seem to find this on RockAuto. I checked every listing for the 05-07 and didn't see anything for an air deflector. Could one of you tell me what you serched under? Thanks.

I can't find it either. I need this and those two rubber pieces that go next to the radiator.

Well I'm getting four 1/8"x24"x48" abs sheets that I will use to replicate something similar to this for the front and then make a piece for the rear. Hope to have the material.in a week or so.

I found them. Just asked Steve at Tasca.

The lower shield is around $60. Part number is 6S4Z*8327*A

Thanks for part number but my new Rieger front bumper came with one :). That said I still plan to use the 1/8"x24"x48" to do the front. I can get 4 of those sheets for less than $50 so it's less expensive than the oem and be customized.
