It's a good thing that Mike at RDC was knowledgeable enough to sell you what you needed for wheel spacers. It would have sucked if he wouldn't have had that knowledge and sold you the wrong size. Then you would have had to send them back to get the correct size after damaging your tires and fenders.

I asked him before purchasing anything, to make sure it was the right fitment. I didn't just assume he knew. On the other hand, any smart seller/distributor would make sure they are selling their customer the correct part.

And I thanked him for it, of course.

dyn0 you still sound like you are butthurt because your comment is not only condescending but it also provides no benefit tothis tread.
All youre saying is Mike/RDC is good seller. Thats all you had to say.
Dont go around saying "oh well you aren't smart enough to figure it out on your own" Yes that is true. thats why people purchase parts from people who know what they are doing and that can be trusted.

just because you know all about cars doesn't mean your better than everyone else

This thread contradicts everything you just said, along with the countless pm's-http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...3+wheel+spacer.

You have tied-up a lot of my time by answering your many questions about the car, suspension, wheel fitment, etc. All your previous post does is show that you're ungrateful to those that actually have helped you achieve what you have done with your car. I used my own time, tore apart my own car, and even volunteered to meet you half-way in order for you to be 100% sure that what you were purchasing was exactly what you wanted and needed.

You even told me of the hassle you had with Mike in trying to get a swap. I've detailed in other threads how he has and continues to sell parts that actually don't fit the Mk3. Without me mentioning these things online, many people wouldn't know until after having already purchased the part. Many people, just like yourself, had purchased the part and already had it en-route to them. Your attitude would be 100% different had I not spoken up and saved you from the damage you would have possibly had had you installed them and then damaged your tire/fender when you hit a bump and your tires rub.

I don't know 'all about cars'; I actively research and learn. In turn, I pass what I learn onto others in order to help them-as shown by the wheel spacer thread. That is not condescension, and my FF reputation shows that I actively try to help people. If you don't want to thank the people that have actually helped you then that is your prerogative.

You're kidding right? Show me an instance where he has said anything like that and I, in turn, will show you hundreds of posts and dozens of threads where he goes out of his way to inform the community you find yourself apart of.

You, sir, need to get off your pedestal, it's unbecoming.

alright listen buddy im not going to argue with you anymore - its a waste of my time.
but i will say this. yes you offered to drive and help me install, then later when i asked you about you said you can't anymore because you were getting ready for FocusFest. Also i've never been "ungrateful". quite the opposite. if you feel like wasting more time to prove me wrong go ahead my friend.

i still have no idea what your problem is

you trash talk everyone and anyone, when you feel like it, on this site including authorized dealers

please stop posting on my thread now, dyn0. thank you very much.

I probably missed it, but what size and type of spacers are you running, and do you have any pics or a link to them?
