2013 Titanium Hatchback Tri-coat White

My wife and I picked up a new commuter car, not intending to get the top trim level, but the dealer gave us a deal we couldn't pass up.

It came with the Titanium handling package which neither of us desired so the first thing we did was get some new wheels. Ended up deciding on Enkei M52 17" and put some Toyo Eclipses on it. The ride and handling are better than the 18" wheels and tires I took off.

Before and After

After the wheels I picked up some splash guards to accent the new black wheels and to try and reduce the dirt from the tires that still stick out a little bit from the body.

We also put Xpel protection film on the entire front end and half-way up the hood. It's 99.9999% invisible which is nice. Also had it put on the side mirrors, door edges, and rear bumper.

The next step is to tint the windows, but we can't decide how dark we want to go. During the winter it can be hard to see when it's so dark out and tinted front windows could become a safety issue.

Those are the headlights i want for mine, with the Black inserts. I plan on buying some or trading my chrome ones for some. It will complete my look. Check out my build thread entitled ,"My 13 Se". Love the color too, its the same color as my Boss 302 :) Performance white!

Beautiful!

What about 20% in the back, 35% in the front? This is the "standard," I think -- Ford Escapes and Edges, for example, often come with 20% tint in the rear. Here's a picture of what that looks like. It's what I plan on doing -- seems the perfect medium... not too dark and blends well together.

Here's a video of the difference between 20% and 35%:

Here in Oregon we can't legally go below 35 unless the car is classified as an SUV or truck, then there isn't any restriction except the front windows. Maybe 35 in the rear windows and 50 in the front. I'll have to find a car to look through their windows.

Ahh. I see. Well, yes, I think 35% is very nice. :)

I have 35 all the way around on mine. In VA, legal is 35 out back and 50 up front for cars. I always go 35 all around.

Very nice, my wife got almost an identical Ti model, the only thing she didn't get was the handling package, she got the 17" polished wheels instead.
