After an impromptu road trip last night (660 miles in 9.5hrs with gas and potty breaks) across Colorado and back I collected my share of bugs and will be cleaning them off shortly.

How about trying one of those Mr Clean cleaner sponges?

With what was once suggested to me before, don't use magic erasers on your paint. It's like an extremely fine sandpaper or something like the sort. Might ruin your finish.

Thank you and that's why I asked. One of the best preventitive things I've seen done is spraying things down with Pam cooking spray before you leave and it will make every bug collect on your nose but they won't stick and will come off easily.
