I thought aem would get the best gains because it's near the coolest air but 4 hp is no good. Steeda

Honestly, I would have to believe that it would do the best as well. Unfortunately we don't have any good end-user data to show what only the intake produces, and I'm confident that the AEM site has under-valued it. What I can say is that the current high-hp vehicle is running it, but obviously it's only one of many mods.

I'm also curious to see some end-user data on the Injected CAI when it hits the market. The Injected car was putting down faster 1/4 mile times than some of the slow ST's at FF13...

The AEM doesn't see dyno gains because the car isn't moving. True cold air systems usually have the best gains, but not on dynos. Most of the faster, higher hp cars use the true cai system vs the short ram like kn or steeda.

EDIT: Its also a hp gain of 4 at 5200 rpms, not as a whole.

I couldnt disagree more. I would personally rather have short ram and direct cool air to it compared to having a longer pipe connected to draw in the air from a fender or something. Problem is, it is the same old cai vs sr debate so potayto patahto.
