Help! Lights when unlocking the car

Hello I have a 2009 se coupe manual, I used to have a 2010 se 4 door auto that would activists the ambers, tale, interior, and licence plate lights when I unlocked it with the keychain thing. My 2009 only activates the maplight inside the car, is there anyway I can make it activate the ambers and licence plate lights?

My 08 lights everything up. If i remeber there is something you can do by cycling the ignition and the locks to get your car to do things like that and lock un lock the doors after shifting to/from park. Its in the manual if i remeber

Post up if you find out how to do it. Mine only lights up the interior dome light.

So aparently you can not change the setting unless you install something. A tune can not do it either according to the ford mechanic

This is the same wiring harness that activates the compass and the ambient temperature on the radio display as well. AFAIK, someone here did the install but it seemed like it wasn't worth it due to the price of the parts and the fact that you have to do an extensive amount of work. Still an available option. Let me see if I can find the post on it.

EDIT: Found it! Here is the post. 1990 GT-X had to do an extensive amount of work as well as sort through diagrams to do it, but it does activate these features all at once. And the simple question is, is it worth it to you?
