How good are the D20s?

I have a 07 with the D20 and auto... how reliable is this setup? Im going to be paying on this car for 4-5 more years just want to know how good the engine and trans are in these cars..

I change the oil every 2500 with motorcraft synthetic blend and do trans flushes every 30k.

78,000 on her now never had any problems (knock on wood)

The motors themselfs are great. The starter, alt, w/p & motor mounts are the major wear issues. They great motors, I like them. All alloy dohc motor w/ a 1hp per inch.

My experience. Had a 2000 sw. I traded it at 200k for a used 05 sw. On the 00, I had the transmission flushed every 30k and it was still performing like a new one when I traded it.

Suggest you keep up with the fuel filter changes. Just replaced a fuel pump. The bottom of the pump holder was covered in dirt, and both screens were black from dirt. The refineries don't deliver clean fuel to gas stations.
