Tune installed. (93 oct).
I filled up halfway with Shell and drove around. The throttle response is much better. There is practically 0 response compared to before. It was about 81 degrees F during this time. I mean there is still a tiny bit of response but it's not the same. I didn't drive around that long and I didn't get on the highway. Once I get on the highway I will be able to test the fuel efficiency. Before the tune I got up to 43 mpg cruising at 70 mph in like 80 degree weather, and about 30 city. The other thing I noticed is that when idling the car is much louder now. It def sounds like the fan or something is working much harder.
I took some pictures to document the tuning. I dont feel like posting them. but when I initiated the tune load to the car the dash said "engine fault service now" . That's normal... right? After the tune was done everything was fine.

i'm sooo excited!

thanks

all normal

I just logged my first 400mile tank, tuned or not. Lifetime average is 32mpg, last couple of tanks were high 34/low 35.

Mishka, being local to Injected Engineering, I was able to go to the shop and had my tune installed there.
Aric explained that he set it up so that the fan would kick in sooner and run a bit longer after shutting down the engine. I am guessing that yours is probably programmed similarly. My temp gauge shows engine temp running normally.
Loving the tune more and more.

It felt great on the way to work today. It has yet to buck *crosses fingers. I could probly make it buck if I wanted to but I'm going to pretend for now it fixed that lol.

From "The more you know" category....

Our temp gauge isn't. It is a programmed display to show an increase to mid-range, then hold, no matter what the real temp fluctuations are. It will only go higher if a certain threshold temp is surpassed, at which point it is supposed to peg and set off a DTC code/light.

Kinda lame, but also why I have Torque app.
