Smile 215 60 r15

Hey guys i just licked up a set for free...! Michelin nordic winter tires, and was wondering if these would work fine compared to the 195 60 r15 thats supposed to be on the vehicle. My assumption is that id just have to buy 15x16.5 or 7.0 rims. Thanx in advance.

I thought the base tire size was 215/55/16. Thats what was on my SE. I don't have the Sport package. My tires were on steelies.

Even though they're not an OE size, I don't see why you couldn't use these with a 15x6.5" rim!

EDIT: You could probably get away with a 6"-7.5" wide rim

Well the stock 15" wheels on the S model take 195/65/15 (according to the Tire Rack site)
So the 215/60/15 would actually be great.

Awesome thanx for the quick replies guys, i have an se with 16s but badly need some winters, this work perfect, off you kijiji to find a steal on steels... I know theyll fit because the s models run 15s but the specs of the tires are so similar its no big deal between the two. Thanx again for all your help.

I've trying to convince myself not to buy aluminum alloy rims, but this is a perfect excuse for me to sell my steel 15" rims... lol

EDIT: Never mind - I'm practicing self-control.

I'm good with anything between 6" and 7.5" - maybe a $50 steel???

Tire rack is too expensive for shipping that its no use buying from you when i can go pick up locally for cheaper.
