hey guys i'm a bit confused in the instructions...
" Plug the I.E.T. Device into the data port and wait for the device to communicate with the vehicle. The device will then read the ECM for any DTC's present; these codes will need to be cleared before proceeding into tuning mode. The device will report a problem (CODE 59) and instruct you to call "TECH SUPPORT". Make sure to UNPLUG the device from the vehicle."

I wrote down all the DTC's and then I choose to clear them. When I did so, all it said was press "Y" to enter "Tuning mode" and "N" to exit. I wasn't sure if I should enter tuning mode so I exited.

what exactly do I do now? Injected is closed on Sunday...

Why wouldn't you enter tuning mode?

1. I was following the instructions to the letter. No where do they say to enter tuning mode.
2. i'm a completely new to all this.

However thank you for implying that I need to enter tuning mode

Maybe he had DCT's and was concerned about whether or not he should move forward with the tuning process

Yes when you enter tuning mode you will receive a error message. Then you will get a message to contact tech support.

I think those instructions are for tuners that do not yet have a tune loaded to them. If your tune is already loaded on your device, there will be no code 59 and no reason to call tech support.

This is a true statement. Those instructions are only for people that order a blank device.

I emailed you Aron. I did, actually, get the Code 59/call tech support. Awaiting your instructions.
