First parking lot ding today :(... anyone have luck with paintless dent removal?

I've heard good things about paint-less dent removal. Anyone have any experience with it?

one of my favorite episodes, but I hope the ding wasn't that bad. as for ding repair, it depends how deep the dent or scratch is. clearcoat doesn't need a paint job but if it's to the paint it should be done correctly.

Some years ago, I had a Lightning Pickup. One day the wife decides she is going to take it to work. Well, I guess someone she was meeting pulled up to talk to her and when he opened is door the wind caught it and slammed his door in to mine. She was so worried that she paid extra for someone to fix it right away. I think down here it was called the Dent Doctor Paintless dent removal. Anyway... to make a long story short. The guy did an amazing job. I could not even tell anything had happened to the door. If she didn't tell me there was a door ding, I never would have known. She didn't drive the truck for a while after that.... :)

I was hit in a minor accident last year in my wife's HHR. The right rear fender was replaced and repainted, the right rear door was repaired with paintless dent removal. Repair looks perfect. If I had not been in the accident, I would not believe it happened. I cannot tell a difference between the two types of repair.

We had a car repaired after a massive hailstorm with PDR. The roof alone had a few HUNDRED dents and it's perfect now.

Thanks for the replies.
I went ahead and had it done for $140. It was a really ugly ding, about 5 inches long, right over one of the body line creases on the rear passenger door. You couldn't tell that it ever happened! I would highly recommend it.
Unfortunately, one week later, someone else got me again. Sigh....
