I had the same reaction! I couldn't believe winter tires rode better, handled similarly, and were quieter than new all-seasons.

Yup, it's not a good sign when winter tires perform better on dry roads than all season tires ...

Which winter tires did you get (that handle about the same as the ContiProContact)?
