You need resistors for the Tail/Brake Light and also for the Turn Signals. I'll post pics from phone of my sedan install.

It's hard to tell by the pics, but where did you mount your resistors? The only thing I am worried about is mounting them behind the actual tail light and the heat starting to melt the plastic.

It looks like your LED's are only top mounted on that bulb. Which could be difficult to see from the side. Have you tried the bulbs in the OP's post? They have side mounted LED's on the bulb stalk.

And Zolemite, I grew up in Naperville. My parents still live there, and I live in Aurora. I'll be on the lookout for your car.

They are mounted to aluminum plates that dissipate the heat. I just have them hanging and I haven't had any issues in over 9 months. They won't burn anything.

A better question is which wires you attach the resistor? Also you can just use Scotch Locks sp to attach resistor. That way it isn't permanent.

Silver I actually only work in Naperville. I live in McHenry. You could stop by my work and check out my setup. It is very easy to install resistors once you've done it once.

The Cree bulb I'm using is plenty bright at night. They leave red circles on the road behind me and it projects to the side. A little harder to see the side during the day.

Where abouts do you work? I don't have any issues installing the resistors, it's just finding a place to put them so the heatsinks don't start to melt anything I'm worried about.
