Seeking Advice for roof trim piece.

The trim piece that runs down the roof on top of my 07 focus is dry rotted and starting to peel off, I have super glued them back temporary but due to the heat where I live; the super glue wore off for maybe 4 months. Here are pictures describing the problem.

What would you recommend that I can do?

Also do these serve any importance if it were to be removed from the focus?

They just hide the seam in roof.
Try Gorilla Glue?

Have any junk yards near you? Not sure how easy it would be to remove from another car but having a fresh strip and re-gluing one that isnt rotted might last longer.

Use a vinyl protector like 303 Aerospace Protectant going forward will help block the UV and seal in the new rubber to keep it lasting longer

I appreciate the feedback, I will try gorilla glue. I will also try double sided tape, thank you all for your time.

I'll make a quick trip to my local junkyard to take a look for them. Thank you for your advice.

Try the WTB section or see if someone is parting out a sedan as well on this forum.

They are normally held on by 3M double sided trim tape.
