Nice! That's not too bad...

It seems the better coilovers don't bounce nearly as much as well...bouncing would drive me nucking futs.

I believe that I was either the second or third person (Chaos09 originally got them) to have bought these coilovers last year around Aug. or Sept. I did not order through RDC because quite frankly I didn't know that they existed at the time and I don't believe that they offered VMaxx back then.

I spoke with Chaos09 and ordered from where he got his from...
www.autotuningstore.com

I paid right around $600 shipped. I had the same issues on the install in regards to the rears being slammed with very little height adjustment and I ended up one of the locking collars and helper springs off the front to level it out. I am talking to RDC about the upper pillowball mounts from KSport to incorporate with the VMaxx coils. I'm just worried about it being an actual bolt on process.

My front shock bodies did come with brake line mounts to mount the brake lines, I didn't have to secure anything with zip ties...

For the price, they are a decent coilover, around the same price for lowering springs and shock/strut combo, but you can go way lower with these. The ride is firm and a bit bouncy, but again I paid $600 for these and they handle tons better than OEM.

This is what mine looked like with 18'' wheels, level ground, front locking collar removed and full low front and rear...

This was before, when the front was still a bit higher...

Another thing to realize is that in the before picture, the frame of my car was level to the ground. The front and rear had less than 1/8'' difference. Our cars have an optical illusion playing against us because the rear fender of our cars is lower than the front fender. So while we want the wheel gap between our fenders/tires to be the same, ultimately when we match the fronts to the rears, the front part of the car will be lower than the rear, raked.

I'm happy with where my car is now, but I do want the pillowball mounts with camber adjustments for the front, which will also allow me to close the fender gap even more...

On a positive, the cars look great that have the coil-overs installed. With that said, I'll be watching this thread very closely to see what happens. Customer service is huge for me and I think the top 2 venders on here for that are Steeda and Injected (based off of my personal experience). Sort've disappointing to hear about the lack of instructions and fitment issues too. Are there any other forum members currently running different coil-overs?

Ok, so you've also had the same experience with adjustment and had to install them the same for fender measurements. That is the main concern in the discussion, as I don't think that the majority of people want or should have to run without helpers and locking collars in order to achieve their desired ride height. According to the V-Maxx specifications, there should be 40mm of adjustment in the front and 30mm in the rear. This is well over an inch in each end, but when installed without helpers in the front (but with locking collar) and the rear at full-up, there is over 1/2" difference and that difference would be greatly increased by the installation of the helpers.

Idk, I'm just surprised that no one would have mentioned this within the year or two that people have been running them. I don't have much of a choice now that I've bought them, but I would have much rather put that money towards a set of coils that could do what was advertised. For everyone that wants to go full-low and run it year-round (and are willing to run without the locking collar), these can indeed do that. But ultimately I plan on moving to an area that actually gets snow, and having the ability to not be 2" from the ground is what I thought I was purchasing.

Thanks for your input!
