If you are running this tune on a completely stock car (which I am), I am pretty sure the difference to the 0-60 MPH time is neglibile. The car feels peppier because, from what I understand, the tune makes better use of the FULL RPM range (you can accelerate from 1st by feathering the throttle pedal, and the transmission does not shudder shifting from first to second). I do not feel a huge power gain.

The car is that much peppier that I even broke traction in 1st going up a moderate gradient quite a few times already with light throttle input.

If you have $400 on hand, I would definitely recommend this device. Especially because, as Aron aimed for, his team's customer service is 2nd to none. And I cannot wait for the updates they have in store for us.

So with a green or K&N drop-in filter and snorkel delete would that along with this tune give any noticeable off the line improvement?

I'm tired of the deadzone from 0-15 mph.

That dead zone you speak of is little-to-nonexistent from my experience rolling stock on this tune. IIRC there were some dyno results posted on page 40 or 62 of the tuning solution thread in our Duratec section. They show significant gains using this tune with alteration to the air intake... I'm not sure if a snorkel delete and drop-in filter would net these gains, but I'm sure the car would benefit from the extra air flow.

Thats good to hear. Anybody have any non-dyno timed results on acceleration? I need some more data before I go out and spend hundreds of $$ on a car mod. Since I don't really care for overall power numbers listed on a dyno but more using what power the car already has on tap on the road. :)

How about look at the dyno sheets because it shows the information that you're looking for. Look at the RPM range and how smooth it is compared to the stock tune. Power is instantly there vs not being there when you step on it.

Ask in this thread if someone can do some logs for you.

Dyno graphs can be found here. http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...313878&page=62
Look closely at the initial gain in torque which will help tremendously with the problem most are complaining about.

Here you go guys. We have been busy and things are happening every day. We can now complete the entire tuning process without someone needing to give us their strategy info first. Here is the link to the instructions I put together and posted in our blog.
