How do i test intake runner control?
A year or so ago i modified a second intake and deleted the tumble flaps/runner control or what ever they are called on a 2.0 duratec intake.
I decided to go back to the stock intake after putting everything back on i rolled the tune back and now i have a P2004 code.
It still seems to be running fine but im wondering about the code if i have a pinched vaccum line, or a bad solenoid or what.
How would i back track the issue? Im thinking maybe pull the line in the center of the intake and put my finger over the inlet see if there is suction, then try the other end on the solenoid, then maybe check the plunger thing that controls the arm?
I may have rolled the tune back to the wrong one also im not sue yet im waiting for Tom.
