Careful. Replaced the 1st on at 100,000 miles. Only got 70,000 out of it's replacement.

And now we don't know if it's salvageable....

60-80k mi is the change interval for any interference motor, the SVT is no exception. Sucks too cause some people have had the belt go before they even hit that mileage. I changed one on a local members SVT who had a brand new re manufactured motor that had a timing belt that was starting to peel and come apart, I couldn't believe it when I saw it.

dam. i just did mine at 220 when i got the car and the guy said he had it done around 100 and that was it. when i took the belt off at 220 it looked like it has really low miles on it no cracks or issues. but he put a lot of highway miles on it so im sure thats why. but better be safe than sorry. i did the belt, tensioner and idler.
