Any tips or tricks to replacing?

Remove the belt tensioner (2 bolts). There are 3, 8mm bolts mounting the tstat housing. The bottom bolt is the pain, I attacked it from the bottom. I will take pics tomorrow, enjoying the new car today.

I knew I should've ordered the 180 t-stat with the tuner. It was 108f here in San Antonio last week.

Are there any disadvantages to the 180 t-stat? Either on start-up or while running?

Not unless you live in the north pole and need all the heat you can get. The Camaro/Mustang crowds used to run 160 degree thermostats.

Hopefully ordering mine by the end of the week. I've never done anything like this before to a car. I've never even used a tuner actually. What am I getting myself into? Is it going to be step by step or is there potential for me to mess things up? I've been trying to read up on it as much as possible so bare with me guys! Lol

Feel free to shoot me a PM with what I'm getting myself into. The more detail the better. Thanks again!!
