I know, look at the asterisk. I just colored them so they stand out more.

SVTf = SVT focus

Yes that's a steal, but you should post a separate thread about it.

You didn't get jipped; that's a good price for that mileage.

This is an old thread but maybe it would be a good place to ask about this. I thought that Ford's AdvanceTrak stability control was only available on 2002-2003 SVTs and the EAP was only available on 2003-2004 SVTs so only the 2003 EAPs had every available factory option. So I guess my questions are:

1) Is this true?
2) Was AdvanceTrak standard or optional?
3) Does AdvanceTrak (as done on the SVT focus) include brake balance control or TVC (torque vectoring control)? Or would it only be considered ESC (electronic stability control)?

Heres how I understand it, someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong:
- AdvanceTrak IS stability control
- AdvanceTrak is separate from traction control
- The SVTs never came with AdvanceTrak or TVC, they came with traction control which only had the ability to reduce throttle input and apply the brakes
- Traction control was optional, basically it came only on the cold weather package and the EAP's
- All SVTs came equipped with ABS though
- The EAPs came with everything: HIDs, audiophile, moonroof, and cold weather (traction, heated seats, block heater) and were only available in 2003 & 2004

According to Wikipedia (and yes, they are wrong a lot), AdvanceTrak was available on the 2001-2003 Focus, non-SVT included.

Everything in here is correct.

AdvanceTrac was available in 2004, as well. If a 2001-2004 Focus had rear disk brakes, it was pretty likely that it had AdvanceTrac, too.

The SVT, however, never got the AdvanceTrac system; it just had traction control.
