Only the newest U.S. foci have the quad set up like yours.

My Focus shows average MPG, DTE, Runtime, and and Trip odometer.

Is this not something that you could have a dealer flash for you on an older Focus? Physical display hasn't changed, and I'm sure the computer is keeping track of MPG in real time.

I am super interested in that Quadrant display, hopefully that will be changeable.

For some reason we have minutes engine has been running since last time everything has been reset. This is a useful feature on my motorcycle on long trips, but not so much for my car.

my average MPG is so low because I hadn't reset it from driving off the lot where It sat idling for apparently 3 hours.

I've had several cars with this feature. I've always seen it as a trip timer more than how long the engine has been running. I often use it on road trips to keep track of how long it took to get where I was going and back. It's also nice for timing random things when driving around town.

Ya it's great for timing trips, but around town I don't need it and haven't taken a long trip in my car yet. It was invaluable on my motorcycle trips though.

What do you use it on your bike for? Is maintenance on bikes done by hours?

Question

Does the 2013 SE SFE have a mini spare just like other SEs ? (no SFE's on the lots around here)

Here's a couple of my thoughts, 2013 SE Hatch, 5 speed

- smooth and powerful engine, although the power and is a bit high up.
- on flat highways I can get over 40mpg, 10 percent better than the EPA.
- has a bunch of features I never expected to find on any car, let alone what is basically a gussied up Escort.
- also has a bunch of useless things. I need an hour meter on my concrete mixer, not on my economy car. And I haven't found a use for the ambient lighting or the tap-to-change-lanes turn signals yet, other than to be cool.
- a car with this bad of rear visibility should have a standard backup camera.
- I know the MTX-75 is tried and true, but this thing REALLY needs a sixth gear for the highway. At 70mph, 3000rpm is too much.
- I can push a button, say "Bluetooth audio" and it will play music from my smartphone, but the windows won't roll up after I shut the car off?! My 8 year old Hyundai did that.
- back seat space is a little tight, but then again, we came from a midsize. Cars have gotten a bit more expensive since 2005.

All in all, we like it thus far. Then again, we didn't get the DCT or MFT. On purpose.
