Motor in the Hocus Focus exploded today, leaving me temporarily without a car. Already looking at another one though. But this time, instead of the gross SPI motor, I found a cheap one with the desirable ZETEC. I foresee a new project in my future.

good luck with the swap! I was going to, but decided i don't have the time or energy to do it, and the money wasn't there even though the price was right, had a parts car complete same year for 500, and it was a manual

anyways, just drove a bunch, drove down to the lake and back twice this week so far, and she hasn't run this nice in a LONG time. the CEL (#4 misfire code) popped off after the first trip, which was 90 mins in 95 degrees going 70-75 with the AC on high. what I thought would kill her seems to have fixed her, but I ain't complaining!

ah that sucks but hopefully you'll enjoy it.

pulled my radiator and soldered the leaks. missed a little pinhole leak so I'm just gonna epoxy that one at work. saved $160 for a new radiator.

started up and moved the 626. took a few pictures of it. now it's raining like crazy.

Found out it's only like $15 more a month to add it on insurance.
