Use a Ford thermostat

My experience is that untill I put in a Ford thermostat I was getting a low temp code. I tried three different thermostats untill I tried the Ford unit and the problem went away for good.

In my Dodge Ram, i went 180 and i get cooler hauls; In my SVT, i use OEM, tune or not. If the needle stays in the middle, i'm happy.

You take a chance of getting the low coolent temp but its rare , even if you get it it doesnt change anything just takes about 10-30 sec longer to reach its target temp then still goes to closed loop , its that the time to go closed loop the temp isnt hot enough yet , thats a good thing , small changes in the tune can correct this , if you dont have a tune dont worry about the light , still worth running the 180 hands down

Part Numbers?

Does anyone have the part numbers for the contour housing? I have an '03 SVT focus.

What is the benefit of the lower temp thermostat? My car is just a daily driver, so I don't think I really need a lower temp thermostat.
