Ripped the Spark Plug Boot

So the other day I was replacing my spark plugs on a 2007, hoping that the new ones (A-103) spaced around .57mm would give me a little zip and better gas milage. Well....it turns out once I hit the third spark plug and the boot was stuck. I tugged and tugged and it didn't want to come out. This is when bad things happened.

First, I pull the head unit and the coil out of the rubber boot (which was still stuck down inside). Whoops!

Second. As I tried to pull the rubber boot out, i accidently tore the boot top. The tear did not extend down into the engine but was on the roundish lip on the top of the rubber.

I finally pulled it out with brute strength and stuck the ripped out coil and head back into the rubber boot. I installed the new plug and started the car up just fine. However, since then, my mpg has decreased and occasionally my ignitions will rev higher than normal.

So heres my question. Would all these problems be fixed if I bought a new boot?
