If you want "custom" Plasti Dip colors, consider ordering the clear dip and thinning it. Then add a pigment color of your choice from various sources on the internet.

This basically will give you a "Crayola Box" or "House of Kolor" range to work with.

You can buy a $5 Preval spray kit from the hardware store to spray the rims with.

Works EXCELLENT provided you do the proper prep work.

Should you need some more details, PM me.

If you do it properly and put enough coats on, yes.

Can someone post a link or tell me how this process works? How much time will it take to complete all four rims? Will it work on stock 05 SES 16' rims?

Search YouTube for how to plastidip wheels. It's exceedingly simple and quick if you're decent with rattle can. Just remove wheels, clean wheels thoroughly, apply 4-5+ coats of dip.

Why exactly would it not work for your wheels?

exactly

there are even dedicated channels on youtube showing you exactly everything needed to get good results. the dipyourcar guys will give you plenty of pointers.

I do not think the flat black looks good on wheels (ive had it.) It just looks dirty all the time and you lose contrast with the rest of your car. Pick one of their more metalic colors to use or buy a couple cans of the glossifyer

did this a while back

I was putting some tire shine (still wet in the pic) on my tires and realized that plastidip is rubber too so why not! I wanted a gloss look anyways and mine ended up looking matte and get dirty easy (granted I did it just before this winter). now with the tire shine it's glossy. but once i have money I want to paint the wheels for reals.
