Smooth door handles

Most of us know that the Mazda Tribute/Ford Escape door handles fit our cars and are a nice option because they are smooth/painted instead of rough textured plastic like ours.

I found that Summit sells these for 12 bucks a piece!

Just thought someone might be interested...I'm buying mine when my next paycheck hits.

If only they had key holes...manual locks only on my fofo, would want keyholes for both handles.

smooth Focus black ones w/ out key hole are only $4.59/each from rock auto, choice for all four doors. w/ key hole and the price bumps to 20 each.

Looks like rockauto also sells the Sherman ones you linked to for the escape but w/keyhole for $8.49/each. Not sure why i never bothered to check rock auto lol. Are you positive the 01' escape has the same door handle as the focus? I'd prefer smooth black over my textured ones, will be easier to paint too.

I know the Tribute has the smooth "SVT" handles... the higher end Escapes might've came with them, but I cant recall if any had smooth handles.

I sanded a non-keyhole cover for my SVT and painted it, it wasn' t that hard to sand but I wouldn't want to do every handle on the car. The only keyhole I have is on the hatch.
