True. Maybe have both options available. I would rather cut into my hood for 1/2 the price of a new hood and not have to worry about storing my oem hood for the next few years.

But if you screw up, the OE hood runs for $708.32 + paint. I would say kind of a risky venture, but if your up for it.

I wouldn't do it myself. I would get an experienced body shop to do it. Anyway, the aftermarket hood is $800+paint so there's no difference in price really.

Ok people how's it goin? Had a trip to a new F/G company today and the RS inspired hoods and wings are coming...I am also gonna put a feeler thread out for Carbon Fiber mirror caps (replace the oe) and rear hatch and trunk handle panels with NO emblems

Hey everyone ...great news on the RDC front.....pricing for the F/G RD RS Hood will be $775.+ shipping....still have to iron out the shipping...will have to go Truck Freight or local pickup. We are going to try to have the first one on our FoFo "Red" at FocusFest....that is our goal. They will come in Gelcoat or Primer....if local pickup we can arrange paint at an additional cost.
