Finally managed to put my order through....

EDIT: I forgot to mention... I really only bought the T-stat because of good customer service. I felt inclined to buy something extra... Hahaha

My question about the tune is how important is it to get a custom tune? Can I run the tune "out of the box" for a while or is it paramount to get the fine tuning done. Reason being I have the funds to get the tune now but will wait and save for the custom tune if that will be needed to safely operate all the parameters of the calibration. I have CAI and cat back exhaust currently.

In short...Yes. You are good till you start with ported heads or cams or long tube header(this is prolly going to bring on alot of questions that I prolly doing have time for answering) or an Intake tube bigger than 4" or turbo... etc.

that would be a lot of extra air, the biggest ones right now are only 3" from maf back, to the filter some of us have 3" and multiple 1" tubes.

I have a few quick questions for Injected guys...........Is there a return to stock tune mode??? for dealership visits...........Does the programmer marry the specific vehicle??? I have 2 focus' in my collection.....do I need a tuner for each vehicle? and is the tuner universal for the octane? or do you have to order a specific octane set tuner....thanks in advance
