It should not matter for emissions unless it eliminates a cat. As long as both cats are still there, the rest of the exhaust does not matter.

I really hope you are right.. The only thing holding me back from buying it is that. I KNOW this car will pass the emissions part of the test with flying colors with or without the exhaust.

But when I took it in last time they looked under it, and I was told you need a muffler. Could perhaps buying a muffler and some 2.5/3 inch pipe and just clamp it on there for the time being be hard?

hey guys, I'm late to the party and before anyone gets rude, YES I read the whole thread. I just want to know how quiet the stealth actually is. I WANT to be heard however I don't want to be stupid loud. I understand that the race is loud, but is it annoyingly loud like the d-bags in their turd box civics?

Put one of these on:http://www.bastuck.de/shop/index.php...51010&detail=1

- FDFO/3-HE2 - 599 USD
- FDFO/3-HE2/CS - 649 USD
- FDFO/3-HE3 - 599 USD
- FDFO/3-HE3/CS - 649 USD

Each price include the shipping cost. Mean that price is part + shipping.

I was looking at that.. my local auto shop carries them. I bought the exhaust and put it on myself and it sounds amazing. The muffler that bolts on to the flex pipe should be large enough to pass emissions/inspections. If they say something about it, I will simply unclamp that second piece of pipe, get another muffler and some pipe, and clamp it on for the test...

You do have to cut your stuck muffler off to get it off, yes. For the fswerks you take off the entire stock system and bolt the first and only muffler onto the flex pipe, and clamp the pipe given to it.

Thanks for the thread revival! its nice to see someones using search. Thats honestly a great question, I will say that I did NOT purchase the WURTH brand paste and a few days after install I got under it to check for leaks and it was blowing horribly. I did not buy the paste because from what reviews I could read on exhaust paste (not WURTH brand specifically) it said that it does "last" and it crumbles off with time. I now bought some cheap exhaust tape from advanced auto and its actually sealing the joints pretty good, but will not last. I'm probably going to order the paste and do it correctly or pay to have it welded up. Just my .02 I hope someone else chimes in to help.
