From what I've read they are independent gauges from the ECM and have their own sensors they read from. I haven't actually tried to see if that is correct though.

The boost gauge doesn't read vacuum though, it's strictly a positive pressure gauge on the ST sitting at zero when off boost.

Does anyone have the measurements of the gauge pod? I have a 2013 Taurus SHO and would love to install some guages in the area under the center stack where my traction control button is....limited room.

Also, how do the guages connect? OBD??

I would also like to know measurements, specifically the size of the window in the pod. Thanks :)

I wonder if the center speaker cover can be removed easily? I am also looking at that as well.

Someone with a right hand drive focus used the dash surround but used a android tablet and OBD2 torque app to display things instead of the st guages.

oh, and is the gauges plug n play (at least for lighting) since I will probably leave it as is until at least when somebody makes a turbo for N/A.
